Honda arrives at full strength for the 2025 Sertões Rally in Brasil
In addition to Tosha Schareina from the Monster Energy Honda HRC, the Honda Racing Brazil Rally Team will be fully present in the fight for their 11th motorcycle title, from July 26 to August 3.
Goiânia (GO) – Honda is coming in strong to the 2025 Sertões Rally, aiming to add another title to its collection in Brazil’s largest rally event. With 10 overall titles already, the most successful brand in the motorcycle category will feature the debut of Spanish rider Tosha Schareina, from the Monster Energy Honda HRC. He is the current Dakar runner-up and third in the World Rally-Raid Championship. Honda Racing Brazil is also a top contender and will be fully represented by riders Martin Duplessis, Romain Dumontier, Bruno Crivilin, Tiago Wernersbach, and Alexandre Valadares “Brankim.” The 33rd edition of the race will take place from July 26 to August 3, from Goiânia (GO) to Marechal Deodoro (AL).
Recognized as one of the world’s greatest rallies, the 2025 Sertões will cover a total of 3,482 km, including 2,215 km of timed special stages. The route also crosses the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, and Pernambuco, offering varied terrain and challenges that push both riders and machines to their limits.
In addition to the prologue and Super Prime on Saturday (July 26), the race will include eight competitive stages. For Tosha Schareina, riding the Honda CRF 450 Rally, the Sertões will be his second-longest challenge of the year—only behind the Dakar Rally. The Spaniard will have a dedicated Monster Energy Honda HRC crew in the Moto 1 class, along with support from Honda Racing Brazil.
Honda is the official sponsor of the Sertões for the 14th consecutive season, with the race being part of the Brazilian Rally-Raid Championship. The Honda Racing Brazil Rally Team is sponsored by Pro Honda, Honda Insurance, Axalta, DID, NGK, Ogio, and ASW.

“I’m excited to be in Brazil and racing the Sertões for the first time. What excites me even more are the people who will be at the race. Competing with so many fans cheering us on makes us give our best. There will be riders who don’t race in the World Rally-Raid Championship but are incredibly fast, so I’ll need to learn from them as well. The route includes roads and a kind of roadbook I haven’t used in a while. Expectations are high."
