Tosha Schareina @ToshaSchareina
Born in 1996 in Valencia, Spain, Tosha Schareina was inspired by his uncle to first embrace motocross before transitioning to enduro and, ultimately, the demanding world of rally racing. His early results showcased his natural talent and set the stage for a high-potential career trajectory.

Background
Initial Rally Success & Dakar Debut
In 2020, Tosha captured his first major rally title at the Andalucía Rally, which earned him direct entry to the 2021 Dakar Rally. In his debut, he impressed with a 13th overall finish, securing the position of the second-best rookie that year.
He mirrored that success in the 2023 Dakar, again finishing 13th, further proving his consistency among the sport’s elite. During that year, riding for Monster Energy Honda HRC, he also recorded strong results with a 2nd place at Sonora Rally, and victories in both the Baja Aragón and the Desafío Ruta 40.
He took a victory in the Rally of Portugal (including three stage wins), a 2nd place at Desafío Ruta 40 (winning prologue and two stages), and another 2nd place at the Rally of Morocco (also winning prologue and two stages). He also claimed the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup for electric motorcycles that year, ultimately finishing 3rd overall in the W2RC standings.
Breakthrough Year: 2025 Dakar Podium Hero
In the 2025 Dakar Rally, Tosha achieved a breakthrough, finishing 2nd overall, just 8 minutes and 50 seconds behind the champion Daniel Sanders, after more than 53 hours of extreme competition. He even secured a stage victory in Stage 11.
Formidable Start to 2025 W2RC
Earlier in the season, Tosha remained competitive in the W2RC rounds. He began the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge strong, winning the Prologue, Stage 1, and Stage 3, briefly leading the classification.
Triumph at the Sertões Rally
Tosha continued his stellar run by winning the 2025 Rally Sertões in Brazil. In only his second appearance, he dominated across six valid stages, winning five of them and securing both the overall title and the Moto 1 category with a commanding lead of over 48 minutes.
Career Summary & Persona
Now 29 years old, Tosha has transformed from a promising newcomer into a rally-raid star. Across his career, he’s notched multiple podiums, evinced resilience through injuries and setbacks, and embodied the “never give up” spirit. As the vice-Dakar champion and W2RC top-3 rider, he’s firmly established himself as a legitimate contender for future world titles.
