Aaron Maré got his first motorcycle at age four to ride in motocross. He subsequently went on to notch up numerous victories and some regional titles in South Africa, in addition to making it onto the national podium on various occasions.
In 2008 the rider made the leap to the Junior World Championship where he competed in MX 85, finishing in the top 20. He moved residence between Holland and Belgium and continued racing in Motocross in Europe before moving on to the United States where he graduated into the highest category, competing in the AMA Outdoor Nationals until 2015. Maré’s nomadic spirit made him settle in Dubai, where he was bitten by the desert bug and ended up falling in love with racing in the sand. In his first season competing in the Baja he finished third, with greater successes to follow, such as the triumph in the Emirates Baja Desert Championship, the UAE Rally Championship and also the Desert Storm Rally in India, even outclassing several factory riders.
